Certified by a third party
Every product we list has a certificate you can look up yourself. A brand saying it's safe doesn't count.
Non-Toxic Baby Gear, Compared
We make it easier for families to choose the non-toxic products that best fit their needs.
Words like "non-toxic," "clean" and "natural" are easy to print on a box, and only the brand vouches for them. That's greenwashing.
A third-party certification is different. An independent organization sets a published chemical standard, tests the finished product against it, and keeps a certificate you can look up.
No certification covers everything or makes a product fully non-toxic, but it's the best signal we have that what you're buying is as non-toxic as it can be. That's why we only list certified products, and why we show what each one checks and misses.

We list every certified product we can find, with the method and dates published.
Nobody pays to appear, and we don't score or sort products. You decide.
